Statement of Purpose
In contemporary society, the human mind is shaped not only by individual experience but also by social, cultural, historical, institutional, and relational contexts. As globalization advances and multicultural societies expand, new perspectives are needed for understanding psychological life and providing support.
The Society examines the theories, practices, professional systems, training, and ethics of clinical psychology from the perspective of comparative clinical psychology. It seeks to clarify both commonalities and differences across cultural, social, and institutional contexts.
